How we handle your data

What we store

Only what you add and what the app makes from it:

• Your email address and the name you give us.
• The files you upload, like resumes, performance reviews and files attached to a job.
• The accomplishments taken from those files, which you confirm or edit.
• Your ideal job: the roles, locations, pay floor and work style you choose.
• The jobs you save, with their postings, links, notes and stages.
• Your tailored resumes and resume details, such as contact information and education.
• Interview prep and your practice answers.

We also keep two internal records that hold none of your text: a log of each AI task (which feature ran, how long it took, its cost and whether it worked) and a log of account actions, such as exporting or deleting your data.

Who processes it

• Anthropic runs Claude, the AI that reads your files and postings and writes drafts. Each task sends only the text it needs. Under Anthropic's commercial terms it doesn't train its models on this text and deletes it within 30 days.
• Supabase hosts the database, sign-in and file storage, and sends your sign-in emails.
• Vercel hosts the app.
• Stripe handles payments if you buy a pass. Passes aren't for sale during the test, so nothing goes to Stripe.

When you add a job by link, our server opens that page to read the posting. The job site sees a request from our server, not from you, and we send it nothing about you.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
• We don't use tracking or analytics cookies. The only cookie keeps you signed in.
• We never send email, apply to jobs or post anything for you.
• AI output is a draft until you confirm it, and resumes use only accomplishments you've confirmed.

How it's protected

Your data is encrypted at rest. Every table is locked so each account can read only its own rows, and files are in private storage that only you can open, through links that expire.

Download or delete it

On your Account page you can download everything as a zip, or delete your account. Deleting removes your files and every record of yours right away and can't be undone. The internal logs above stay, with nothing linking them to you. Copies may remain in our hosting provider's backups until those expire.
